“It is very important for me to involve the urban the natural environment into my art and to open new perspectives. Aluminum as a medium gives me the chance to gain great depth and vibrations of colors and tones mirroring the surrounding space”
-Piotr Janowski(The artist behind this creation)
Dubbed Getoff, Łódź Fabryczna, Janowski are the designers who designed this train for the new train station in Poland.
Once the design was completed, Mr. Piotr, along with his 14 assistant student from the local academy of fine arts made this marvelous creation by covering the 42 foot long Px-48 train built in Poland(1953) with 3,900 sq ft Reynold’s heavy duty aluminum foil.
It took them almost 96 hours to complete.
PX-48 is now kept for display in the station as an art piece. It appears amazing as the foil on the train reflects the colors and lights up the entire place. It makes the entire places look like a gallery.
well! This is something to look forward to while visiting Poland. Definitely keep in mind to visit the train station if you are planning a trip to Poland.
This is one way of urbanization in the country. We are pretty sure a lot of other countries are going to implement and come up with new ideas like this.
