Bizarre Jobs? Trust me, few are dream jobs and few can be way out of our imagination. However, some of these jobs you’ll be glad you never had — you probably haven’t even heard of some, at least if not, most of them.
1 . Professional Snuggler
Like I mentioned before this could be a guy’s dream job, but an actual professional job in some places. Cuddle cafes first opened in Japan a few years ago and recently have appeared in some parts of America. In Japan, you can sleep next to a professional snuggler for about US$30 per hour. In America, it’ll cost you a buck a minute.
2. Bed Testers
Dream job! Dream job! Is it your dream job too? Here, you are paid to sleep in different beds all day long to check if they are soft & comfortable enough. This is also taken as a part time job by many and get paid around $150 t0 $2000 per month. How great is that?
3. Live Mannequins
People stand in the stores as mannequins in the USA and get paid around $100 an hour. It is not as easy as it sound. You need to be fit though!
4. Pet Food Taster
Yes, humans who test eating pet food. Just to make sure everything is OK. Somebody has to do it, right? The pets are not going to review their food and tell us!
5. Professional Mourner
There are Professional Mourner in Africa, China & Middle East. They are paid to cry loudly when there is a funeral. Doesn’t sound like a fun job to me.
Worm pickers get paid to collect the best worms and put them in cans. They do their job in the middle of the night, when it’s dark. Wearing protective clothing, they simply hunt for worm colonies. Then, the cans are sold to fisher men all around the world as good fertilizers.
7. Professional Ear Cleaner (India)
Apparently if you’re forgotten to clean your ears and go out, their are professional ear cleaners to the rescue! These guys walk the streets of India with cotton and a needle, so they’ll take care of the earwax for you. Weird right? Is this even a job?
8. Vomit collector
People clean vomit. Thats normal, Isn’t it? there are housekeepers who help clean up. But, people collect vomit? Yes. Amusement parks are loaded with rides that scare the shit out of people, literally. So vomit collectors are paid to pick up your undigested waste after your terrifying rides.
In Japan, there are paid pushers, called oshiya, whose job is to push people onto the train, making sure it’s packed to the gills during rush hours, And you thought your rush hour was bad?
10. Deodorant Testers
This is real, people are hired to smell others armpit’s to test the odor fighting power of their deodorants.
Finally, to the end of this weird list. People who think your job sucks? Think about it again!
