Disneyland’s going to open its first ever brewery soon by Ballast Point, a brewing company based on San Diego, announced last week that they will be opening a brewery and a tasting room in Downtown Disneyland.
Isn’t this just amazing? Disneyland is only getting better and people can’t get enough of this wonderland. Now, it is not only a fun place for kids but for the adults who accompany them as well.
” Disneyland, Indeed a magical land”
A beer garden which is around 7,300 square foot is a dream turned reality, while they have various crafted beers, tasting room and a kitchen as well. They also have special ales which are made exclusively for Disneyland.
A brewery in Disneyland, can this place get any better?
Patrick Finnegan, Vice President, Disney California Adventures and Downtown Disney said, “We are thrilled to welcome Ballast Point to Downtown Disney. Our Guests are constantly asking for new and innovative dining experience, and Ballast Point’s selection of award winning beers, locally inspired cuisine, and friendly atmosphere make them a perfect fit.”
In a official announcement, Ballast Point shared photos on Instagram stating that the beer garden will be entirely a family friendly space which will make an ideal stop for the adults who accompany the kids, while Disney vacations are mostly for the kids.
We're bringing Ballast Point to the happiest place on earth! That's right, our next location is in the #DowntownDisneyDistrict at @disneyland in Anaheim, marking the first-ever on-site brewery for Disney. This incredible space will house a three-barrel R&D brewery, restaurant and beer garden. We can’t wait to bring our tasting room experience to this magical place, and we'll keep you updated as the opening date nears. Also, on their Facebook page they wrote, ‘We are so excited to announce our upcoming Tasting Room & Kitchen in Downtown Disneyland!
We can’t wait to bring the Ballast Point Brewing Company tasting room experience to this magical place’.
While, Bringing your own booze was prohibited in the park, also there were no alcohol served in the park itself. The few other places that served booze was the Disney owned hotels and exclusive restaurant only. The founder of Disneyland, Walt Disney wanted the theme parks to maintain a family atmosphere. So, he did not want any alcohol in the premises.
Wondering why the brewery is coming into act despite this? Well! This is one of the few moves of Disney park to make the holiday land more adult focused attraction.
The opening of the brewery is going to be the most awaited event now.
Can this magical land get even the more magically than this?
